TARA-NICHOLLE NELSON

Tara-Nicholle Nelson is the VP of Digital and Content for the SutherlandGold Group in San Francisco. A real estate broker and attorney in a former life, Tara had written two books for women consumers when HGTV came a-calling, asking to license - and asking her to adapt - one of her books’ content for a startup digital property.

In the five years since, Tara has developed and executed integrated content, PR and social media strategies and created thousands of pieces of consumer content that have achieved the traffic, brand, PR, niche marketing, business development and revenue objectives of online brands ranging from Aol. to the AARP to real estate search engine Trulia.com. Her deep understanding of consumer psychology, behavioral economics and consumer content consumption patterns powers the content strategies, systems and substance she creates.

Tara has an uncanny knack at landing her clients’ content on major web portal welcome screens like Yahoo!, HuffPo and Aol; has personally presented her brands’ consumer content over 100 times on national broadcast outlets like the Today Show and has as much as tripled her clients’ email click-through-rate with a single blog post.

Tara holds a Master’s degree in Psychology and a Juris Doctorate from UC Berkeley.
