The Vice President plays a key role in the development and growth of clients and the account team. This position plays an important leadership role in the development of staff, client service standards, and service offerings, working closely with agency leadership to outline the vision and strategic direction of SG.  The VP has revenue and client retention responsibilities

The ideal candidate has 10-12 yrs of PR experience with at least 4 years at an agency, strong ability to model projects and staff resources, can quickly develop an understanding of complex products, services and solutions and proven success mentoring and managing staff.


Account Directors are strategic PR practitioners, playing a leadership role for both clients and the SG team. Directors are responsible for client retention, setting strategies and plans of action, meeting client goals and metrics, and demonstrating a track record of producing high-quality work. Directors are expected to be a strong #2 in new biz pitches.

The ideal candidate has 8-10 yrs of PR experience, extensive client service experience, a deep relationships with specific categories of higher level media (business, technology or consumer) that result in significant coverage for clients, and proven success managing and mentoring teams.

Account Supervisors focus is on managing the day to day media relations, client programs/initiatives and launches. You are the primary leader of teams, responsible for managing workflow, client projects and focusing weekly activity on client results and goals. Supervisors are responsible for media and program strategy, but also contributors to overarching account strategy, client positioning and creative ideas.

Ideal candidates have 5-8 yrs of PR experience, a deep relationship with a specific category of higher level media (business, technology or consumer) that has resulted in significant coverage, and excellent organizational and planning skills.

The Senior Account Executive is the day to day client contact and manages client projects and programs (client launches, executive thought leadership platform, digital campaigns, influencer programs), helping to ensure all aspects of the account are moving forward and ensuring all client and media deliverables are high-quality and error free.

Ideal candidates have 3-5 ys of PR experience in an agency or similar position, have existing relationships with reporters and editors and a strong track record of placing high-impact stories, and a solid understanding of the overall technology or consumer technology industry.

As an intern, you will bring your enthusiasm for PR and start-ups, exceptional attitude, big brain and industriousness to the table and we will coach you through a PR boot camp during which you will learn the ins and outs of PR agency life.  This includes conducting daily news scans, researching and compiling media lists, editorial calendars and other account programs.

This internship is a 6 month, full-time paid internship beginning mid-June.   Prior internship experience in PR, journalism or marketing is a plus. But a college degree is.  While this is a remote position, candidates must work in NY, NJ, CA or IL.

Successful interns may be offered full-time employment based on performance and business need.
